I had a message on my answerphone at work from Tina. Unfortunately I had gone out to lunch so missed speaking to her. She said that everyone is okay and please can you keep praying for them.

They are going to try and ring again tomorrow, so do check the site Friday evening and hopefully we will have a bit more information.

We had a phone call from the team this afternoon. On Saturday they visited some local churches and saw a baptism. They also had a gospel service at which about 150 people came forwards to become Christians.

The team are on the go from about 6.30 am to midnight, obviously this is a very punishing schedule. One major concern for the team is tiredness and being vulnerable to illness as a result. Please especially pray for the team about this that God might be their rest and he would refresh them so they are able to do his work.

Everyone in the team has led people to the Lord. And they are praying for people up to 1/2 hours after the the service is finished. They have seen 2 ladies with their eyesight restored and one child able to walk who had not walked in his life.

One main had a vision of Tina and she said to him in the dream that God would come to his house. The next day we visited this man and led his sister to the Lord.

One lady had a dream about Terrie 7 years ago and God said to her that Terrie would be coming to India. This lady recognised Terrie from the platform on the night of the first gospel service.

We had a phone call from the team this evening. Last night (Thursday) after the gospel meeting over 80 people made a commitment to the Lord. Tonight (Friday) over 100 people made a commitment after the meeting. The team have also been seeing amazing miracles, the lame walking and the blind seeing. PRAISE GOD!

21-06-00:

The team had their fist gospel meeting tonight at which Terrie spoke. It was held in the open air and 100s of people attended. When Terrie made an appeal for people to become Christians about 30 people responded and they know for definite that at least 10 people made a commitment to the Lord. Loads of people came forward for prayer.

Tina said " we are all entering a new level of confidence and boldness in speaking."

The team travelled to Walajah today and we know that they arrived safely and the first meeting went well.

We left Bangalore today, picture showing the vehicle being loaded. The journey took 5 hours and as we got nearer to Walajah the temperature got higher and higher sapping the strength of the team. Once we arrived in Walajah we had 40 minutes to refresh and prepare for the meeting.

Greetings from Bangalore - we arrived at 5.00 am Thursday morning and there are pictures to prove it! Pastor Francis Jackson greeted us at the airport with jasmine garlands. The journey was long - we started out at 3.00 am on Tuesday morning when we were driven to the airport.

We're all well, though tired, and raring to go. Pray particularly for stamina for each of the team and for the speakers at the meetings.

Please pray for the orphanage - this is having to be relocated in 60 days because of the release of poisonous snakes in the area which no-one can touch because they are worshipped by the local community. Some children have left the orphanage because of fear of the snakes.

We've already been shopping in Fifth Avenue and survived our first few journeys on the roads - amazing experience! Weather is hot and sticky but we've been welcomed very well by everyone here.

Till next time - lots of love to everyone from all of us here.

Roger
