Together for God:
India 2000
God's investment in our future
Friday 16th June
Today we visited
KMPC Pentecostal Church School where there are 1000 children
from a very poor slum area, with 23 teachers.
Each class has
about 30 children. Here are 3 of the photos taken:
- A teacher in
the class with the children
- The team visiting
children in their classroom
- The headmistress
and 3 of the team
The children were
very well-behaved and the church provides a uniform for
each child. We also visited the Nursery School of 3 classes
of about 30 3-5 yr old children. They sang us some songs
which brought tears to our eyes "I'm a little teapot", "Baa
Baa Black Sheep" and "Jesus Loves Me".
School closed at
3.30 when the children really enjoyed shaking our hands
- some enjoyed it so much they came back 4 times! This caused
lots of laughter and we were really blessed by them. We
were given tea and biscuits before we left by Pastor Jackson's
wife, Soluchana, who is in charge of the school.
Prayer Requests
1] Pray for all
the children and workers in the school.
2] Pray for all
the administration and practical details for the coming
conference.
3] Please continue
to pray for the team.
