His call to the ministry came through Isaiah 42:6-7 and he says that his life is a testimony to the power of God's word and His loving faithfulness. Christopher Pye. Chris became a Christian at the age of 37 in 1983 following a long period of depression. His life was transformed, and as a result, so was that of his wife, Angela and two daughters Kate and Rachael. After attending the local church in the Norfolk village where he lived and farmed, he became Pastor at the Assemblies of God Church in nearby Watton, in 1988. A verse from the Bible which has been particularly important to Chris is from John 7:37&38, " Jesus said. If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, streams of living water will flow from within him." As Pastor of Watton Pentecostal Church his heart is to see other peoples lives changed as a result of the Gospel.

Angela Pye. Angela met Chris when she was training to be a teacher, and married him in 1972. She became a Christian in 1984 after seeing the dramatic change in her husband. She had always attended church and thought that she was a Christian, until she realised that Chris had found a reality she had never experienced. After two or three months of seeking God she too came into a personal relationship with Jesus. Since that time Angela has worked alongside Chris in reaching out with the gospel to those the Lord has led them to. Angela is secretary of the church, and enjoys working in administration to enable things to flow efficiently!

Tina Pawsey. Tina became a Christian in 1983 at the age of 33, after 18 months of searching for the meaning of life. For three months she heard the gospel preached at a local village chapel, after which she invited Jesus Christ into her life as Lord and Saviour. Early on in her Christian life Tina felt her calling to be from John 21 where Jesus asked Peter to feed his lambs, take care of his sheep and feed his sheep, and feels this ministry to be complementary to Roger's as they work together in the ministry. Tina is currently in her third year of counselling training and has a desire to "...bind up the broken hearted, proclaim freedom to the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners..." (Isaiah 61:1). Tina also has a desire to see women rise up to their God-given ministry so spends time encouraging women to develop in confidence, to reach their potential and to be released into ministry within the church.
