Prayer
Please keep praying for this year's trip to India. Pray
for the English and Indian organisation leading up to the
event. This includes: organising Pastors conferences, Ladies
days, Gospel meetings, training days, flights, accommodation,
fundraising activities. More ideas for prayer are listed
below.
Specific prayer requests from the team
Monday 5th June
Please pray for the team as they make their preparations for journey home. Pray that they would all be in good health and feeling strong for the journey. Pray that the flight would be easy and that everyone would be able to get their sleep and rest. Pray that the journey to their homes in England would be problem-free.
Saturday 3rd June
Please pray for the health of the team as there have been a few upset stomaches. Please also pray that God would renew their strength for the last few days and for the long journey home to England.
Friday 2nd June
Please pray for the Ladies' day that will be happening on Saturday. Please pray as well for the team as they minister at church services on Sunday.
Friday 26th May
Please pray that Pastors will be blessed through the conference.
That souls will be saved at the gospel meetings and pray for good weather.
That signs and wonders will follow the preaching of the word.
Pray against any opposition that the team are facing in Bidar.
Monday 22nd May
Please pray for the team about any tiredness they might feel tomorrow from their long journey. That God would be their rest and he would refresh them so they are able to do his work.
Please pray for a breakthrough in the first conference and that the annointing of God will be upon those who minister.
Please pray for the members of the team who will be ministering and for everyone's health.
Saturday 20th May
Roger phoned today. The team will be travelling to Bidar on Monday. They leave by train at 10pm, it is an 18 hour journey and there is no air-conditioning on the train. Please pray that there would be no problems or delays on the journey and pray also that the team won't find the journey too stressful. Please also pray for the Pastor's conference and the open air crusade meetings which start on Wednesday 24th.
Friday 19th May
Please pray for the members of the team who have arrived today and are acclimatising- Tina, Graham, Nick, Steve and Rachel. Please also keep praying for Roger and Simon.
Tuesday 16th May
Please do pray for both Roger and Simon who have both been unwell with sickness today. Please pray that at this midway point, they would be able to rest in God. That He would restore their physical health and renew them spiritually for the remainder of the visit and especially for when the rest of the team arrive on Friday.
Sunday 14th May
Please continue to pray for us as the 2-day youth conference starts tomorrow (Monday 15th May).
Friday 5th May
Please pray for our safety travelling, our health and strength. The heat and tiredness do take their toll.
Please pray for tomorrow - we go to visit Rajakumar and in the evening may be called upon to preach at a youth meeting.
Saturday 29th April
Please pray for Roger and Simon as they minister at a youth service today and several church services tomorrow. Also please pray for Roger as he prepares to conduct a wedding on Monday.
Friday 28th April
It is very early in the morning of Friday 28th April. Simon was ill again last night. Please ask people to pray for him.
Thursday 27th April
Simon was ill last night and got very little sleep. Please ask people to pray for him. General:
Prayers for the Team:
- Please pray for protection for the team against illness.
- Please pray for protection for the team while travelling
both to, from and in India.
- Please pray for the families of the team who are remaining
at home.
Prayers for the Conferences/Gospel meetings in India
- Please pray that the Holy Spirit would prepare hearts
in the Indian villages that many would become Christians.
- Please pray that Indian Pastors will be blessed through
the conferences.
- Please pray for the manifest presence of Jesus to be
revealed at each meeting
- Please pray that the team would be used in the ministration
of spiritual gifts.
