Monday 29th May
We had a text message from Tina:
We will shortly be leaving for Bangalore, another 17 hour journey.
Later we received an email:
There was a problem in Bidar - the christians in the city had called a strike because a low caste man had been beaten. Everything came to a stop -all the shops were closed - no buses or taxis were running. Getting to the station the team had to make special arrangements and travel by back roads.
At the railway station there was many people there to see us off. The train came 1 hour late. The trip back to Bangalore was very good and we ate Mini cheddars and bananas, with rich tea biscuits and jam. What a feast!
We have arrived in Bangalore and had breakfast with Pastor Jackson. It is now 11am Tuesday 30th.

- For the team as they start out on their train journey to Bangalore.
- For the health of the team.
- For the work they will be undertaking when they return to Bangalore.
- Also remember the families of the team who are back in England.
