Here is information from Roger:
In the morning Simon and I went to the English Service, where I preached. I rested for the rest of the morning and most of the afternoon.
Simon was ill again.
In the evening Pastor T Yeswanth Kumar picked me up, taking me to preach in his church. Simon was unable to come as he had not recovered.
They had started a month of prayer and praise. The atmosphere in the church was amazing as the people worshipped. One little boy caught my eye, he was dancing but with gusto. He is at the Pastor’s home for orphans. All the children had gone to be with family but this little lad had no one, so he stayed with the Pastor.
Then the church started to pray, and it was as though a door in heaven opened.
I was asked to preach for an hour but only had notes for forty minutes but when I looked at my watch, I had taken an hour and five minutes. People spontaneously clapped at the end.
We then went to the Pastors home for a meal, Pastor Rajakumar joined us, and we sat chatting about the church and the different styles of church.
I was touched by the service and eventually left the Pastor and his family; I arrived back at the church where we are staying at 11pm, very late!
