The team and all the luggage was allowed on the plane!
They were offered a delay until tomorrow morning- the bribe being £400 each and an overnight stay in a posh hotel. Sadly this was withdrawn when the airline found out the had an ongoing flight from Columbo to Bangalore! As the flight was overbooked, they're hoping that the same will apply on the way home and they'll be offered the same deal in Columbo on the return journey.
Alan Field has asked that we pray for a council official who was knocked over yesterday and is critically injured.She has several skull fractures amongst other injuries. Alan has just been appointed the Mayor's chaplain.
