Together for God:
India 2004
God's investment in our future
Saturday 19th June 2004
Today is the last day of the Pastor's conference and the third day of the gospel crusade.
We had an email from the team which was received on Monday 21st June regard this day:
Report for 19th June written 21st June 9am
This was the last day of the Pastors’ Conference. Graham spoke on being together, encouraging and supporting each other. At the end of his message he got everyone to come to the front of the hall, Indians and English mixed together and sang together. It was a very moving time.
Tina then spoke about clothing ourselves with Christ and walking as Jesus walked as we move forward together.
Roger took the last session and talked about how to pray for people to be baptised in the Holy Spirit and the importance of a spirit-filled church. At the end of the session it was our privilege to anoint everyone with oil and it was a special and moving experience. To conclude the conference each member of the team presented the pastors with an umbrella.
During the anointing time Roger began to feel unwell and was out of action for the rest of the day and all day Sunday.
At the Gospel Meeting on Saturday evening Terrie and Lydia gave testimonies and Pastor Jackson preached. 50 people responded to his appeal at the end of his message, then the team prayed for people.
Please pray:
- For the team ministering today
- For people to become Christians at the Gospel Meetings in Gulbarga
- For the Pastors to be greatly blessed through the Conference in Gulbarga
- For the Pastors' as they leave the conference, pray for their protection and their ministry
- For the health of the team
