Together for God:
India 2004
God's investment in our future
Friday 18th June 2004
Today is the third day of the Pastor's conference and the second day of the gospel crusade.
Email report:
Last night was the first of the gospel meetings. Tina gave testimony and Roger preached. Over 35 people responded for the appeal. Unsure at present how many people made a first time decision.
A number of people were prayed for and a 10-year-old boy who came with his father for prayer gave his life to the Lord.
We ate in the hotel restaurant after the gospel meeting. A meal for 6 cost 602 rupees (about £1.30 each). There was so much there we could not finish it all.
In the morning Roger went and prayed for the family of the man living by the roadside.
At the pastors’ conference Terrie took the first slot and preached a message that you must be yourself. Lydia took the second slot and spoke about who you are in Christ.
Alfred Mundy took the third slot and preached about the power of relationship between the trinity. At the final session Roger spoke about relationships in a team and how one should choose and use a team.
Please pray for Terrie who has damaged some ligaments in her shoulder and is feeling some discomfort.
Please pray for the following sessions:
Saturday morning at Pastors’ conference where all the Pastors will be anointed
Saturday evening Gospel meeting
Sunday morning as the team sets out to minister in 5 different churches
Sunday evening Gospel meeting
Monday evening, catching train back to Bangalore.
Thank you
Please pray:
- For the team ministering today
- For people to become Christians at the Gospel Meetings in Gulbarga
- For the Pastors to be greatly blessed through the Conference in Gulbarga
- For the health of the team
