We arrived safely at 8am Cuddalore time, and after a short rest found a very nice restaurant. We are well physically although obviously tired, but emotionally and spiritually strong. God is answering prayer for us as a team in many ways. Nick informed us over lunch that he had preached at a local Church while we were all resting. Praise the Lord that two people were saved at this meeting after his preach!

At lunch just before the prayer time Fredrick suggested that we visit the beach, which is only a five minute drive away. We decided to take the guitar and see what developed! The Lord was powerfully amongst us during the prayer time which we held in the restaurant's family room where we had just eaten. Two of the waiters came in to listen and one of them afterwards asked for prayer, seeking salvation - we are expecting him to attend the first Gospel meeting on Wednesday.

We arrived at the beach at 5.30pm and positioned ourselves centrally and away from the crowds. We prayed and began to worship the Lord making sure we were facing the local people on the beach who began to gather around us. After 15 minutes of praise, which Paul led on his guitar, Vic moved out towards the crowd and the Holy Spirit gave him a boldness to wave his Bible at the gathering locals and proclaim the name of Jesus. What an awesome sight!

We were thrilled that Fredrick acted as our interpreter - the first time he has ever done this. Initially he was reticent but the Holy Spirit gave him boldness too. He appealed to the people to respond for prayer for healing and salvation. Several people responded and members of the team joined with Vic in praying for them, while others continued to praise the Lord. Graham and Mat also boldly stepped forward and told people about Jesus. 11/12 people were led through the sinners prayer and encouraged to attend the Gospel meetings.

People were healed from chest, back and stomach pain as well as one person who had hearing problems. The team were so encouraged and thrilled that we instantly decided to return to the beach tomorrow and asked Fredrick to let the crowd know we would be back at the same time.

Please pray for our beach outreach tomorrow (Monday 5.30pm -remember we are 4.5 hours ahead of you). Pray also that many people will come to the Gospel meetings and give their lives to Jesus. Please also pray for continued strength and good health for every member of the team including our two new members Mat and Beth.

1] Please pray that the team will not suffer from jet lag and that they will be refreshed in their morning prayer meeting.

2] Pray particularly for stamina for each of the team and for the speakers at the meetings.
