Be Bold and
Courageous!
Tina and I were the only
two women on the Together for God team this year, but God had joined the two of
us together as a strong team.
Before leaving for India
I had been given the scripture from Joshua 3:9 "Be Bold and Courageous", and
had written it in my diary that I take to India with me.
On the first evening we
arrived in India I was looking in my diary and noticed that instead of writing
be Bold and Courageous I had written be Bold and Gorgeous!
As I dressed in my Indian
clothes for the Women's Conference that is how I felt - Bold and Gorgeous. At
the end of the Conference a special anointing service was held, and Tina and I
were asked to go among all the women and anoint them with oil.
The presence of the Holy
Spirit was so great at this time, the worship leader was playing a song called
"Come Holy Spirit", and as I was anointing the women's heads with oil it was as
though the Holy Spirit was pouring His love and compassion into me. He was
making me to be the person He wanted me to be - Bold, Courageous and
Beautiful for Him.
