Using the Prophetic in Church

When to share prophecy

The biggest question for those who are eager to prophesy is when should I speak. It is important that any gift be delivered within the spirit of the meeting.

In the case of our church it is possible to go to an appointed leader and share what you have with him, and then he will indicate to the person leading the meeting, who will invite you to speak. We have found this to be a sensible means of overcoming this obstacle. In fact, even the church pastors submit themselves to this principle and to whoever has been charged with the responsibility of leading the meeting by the church leadership.

It is important to share only with the blessing of the church leadership. If you are receiving prophecies and are under a leadership that does not give time for the administration of the gift you are probably in the wrong church.
