Because the work of the Holy Spirit in worship covers a whole range of both biblical and practical applications we are going to turn this section into a series of teachings for worship leaders. A Lot of the teaching in this series will be based on 1 Corinthians 12, and Paul's teachings on the guide lines in which to move in the Holy Spirit.
Like all organisations , whether it be a production company, or voluntary you will often find that there are procedures in place, which act as a guide to how the job is correctly to be done, and also they help avoid any mistakes being made, thus avoiding a lot of heart ache along the way. As Worship Leaders we are often in the forefront of the action that is going on, and so we must be able to clearly respond to the work of the Holy Spirit and be able to discern what is of the Holy Spirit and what is not. The Lord has given us a huge responsibility and we must not take it lightly. Therefore, for our sakes, Worship Leaders must be in submission to the Church Leadership. As right relationships between Church and Worship leaders is essential, it must be based on mutual respect and Christian love.
