This morning the team went to three different churches. Roger and Alan went to the main church where both shared and a lady was set wonderfully free. Alan and Lydia field went to a small church pastored by Pastor Samuel, which serves the rail workers and their children in a very poor part of the city. Vic and Lorraine went to a church of about eighty people, where they were well recieved.
The evening saw the last of the gospel meetings. Lydia gave her testimony and Roger preached. The night was marked by a powerful thunderstorm and a series of power cuts. At one time the whole church was in complete darkness. However, Roger kept preaching until the lights came on and the power was restored.
The team left Hubli at 11pm on the overnight bus to Bangalore. We were all sorry to leave and believe that we have made new friends through the week.
