Alan Field has been unwell in the night with heat exhaustion and rested during the morning. The team spent the first part of the morning at the launch of the vacation bible school they spoke to and prayed for the teachers. Several words of encouragement were given to individual teachers as they were prayed for and the leader of the school thanked the team.
The vacation bible school generally attracts about 150 children but this year they are hoping for about 200. It will last for 10 days and is attended by Hindu and Christian children from the local neighbourhood.
At about 11 am we went to the Pastors meeting in the church where there were about 150 - 175 pastors. Lydia spoke to Pastors and had a special word of encouragement for Pastor Ruby. Vic preached after lydia and then Roger preached and brought the meeting to a close before a late lunch. The whole team rested in the afternoon and went shopping in the evening. We finished the day with ice cream before going to bed. We will not be able to get internet access necessary to update the internet when we leave Bangalore. We will therefore update the site as soon as possible and email everyone on the distribution list.
