Developing the prophetic - advanced Level

As you seek for your ministry to develop and mature, this will involve a deepening in your own spiritual life, through longer times in prayer, more in-depth bible study, reading the gospels and studying the prophetic ministry of Jesus.

God may use you to bring revelation to the church through the prophetic word. Revelation prophecy can be defined as containing elements of direction, guidance and correction. If this is the case, there will be an even greater need for this to be submitted to the church leaders prior to the word being given. The church leaders have a responsibility to care for the flock God has entrusted to them, therefore any revelation prophecy must be weighed by them.

If your ministry moves into this area of revelation prophecy, you must take particular care that your character lines up with God's standard for lifestyle and godly living. Our enemy always stands ready to destroy God's people as they move powerfully in anointed ministry. It is important to be aware of the enemy's attack in our areas of vulnerability, therefore it is wise to be accountable, teachable and submissive at whatever level of ministry we are engaged in.
