How does God Speak

How do I know it is God

When we step out in the prophetic, very often the enemy will bring doubt and confusion into our minds, which causes us to wonder if what we're hearing really is from God. These doubts can be overcome by:

Firstly, sharing with a leader, or with people who regularly move in the prophetic, what we believe we're hearing and asking for their counsel. Be willing to submit to their wisdom and experience, remembering that you are like an infant taking its first shaky steps.

Secondly, remember that if, through prayer and desire, you have come before the Lord and asked him to use you in the prophetic, then you need to believe that your prayer has been answered and he has actually given you something to share. Remember, he wants to use you.

Thirdly, be prepared to submit the gift, recognising it's your responsibility only to share it. Others must weigh it and decide what to do with it.
