Saturday 29 April
Here is information from Roger received early Saturday morning:
It is Saturday Morning now and at 5 pm is the Youth Meeting. Simon will be giving a testimony and I will be preaching. Please pray for us.
Sunday morning I will be preaching at the Tamil Meeting and the English Meeting, while Simon will give his Testimony and preach at the Kanataka meeting.
On Monday I have been asked to take a wedding ceremony for a couple called David and Dorothy.
Tuesday we are going to Talitha Cumi (change to programme)
Friday we go to KGF and the Silkworm Project (change to programme)
Simon is much improved and is looking forward to the youth service.
Another change to the programme Saturday 13th May is a free day because the Conference ends on the Friday.
Well what a day! it has been very hot here 37 degrees - it seems to just sap your strength. Anyway Simon and I are sticking to our story for mid-day naps.
This morning we visited the vacation bible club there have been over 175 children attending, also there were some more changes to the itinerary.
At lunch we went with Fredrick to Pizza Hut and rested in the afternoon.
In the evening Simon shared his testimony at the special youth service and Roger preached. After the service Mrs Jackson took us out for Ice cream. We have to go to bed now because the first church service in the morning starts at 7am. Yes that is 7 in the morning!
