Saturday 15th June
Roger and Tina phoned at 10am this morning, Roger said:
We finished the Pastor's conference
today, it has been really good. Lots of people have made
comments about how good, as it is the first time that all
the different denominations have come together. The anointing
service was very good, a very different experience for people
from some of the denominations.
We have had reports of healings in
Kalakuruchi. Terrie prayed for one lady who had suffered
with hip trouble for 6 years. This lady had spent thousands
and thousands of rupees on doctors and treatments but nothing
had helped. After Terrie prayed for her she was healed and
is now telling everyone that Jesus healed her. Praise God!
Tina said:
Please pray for the gospel meetings,
Vic and myself are preaching this evening and Terrie and
Roger are preaching tomorrow night.
Please also pray as we go and minister
to local churches tomorrow morning. Vic and Simon will travelling
together and visiting one church. Terrie and I are travelling
together and will be visiting one church. Roger is travelling
on his own and will visit one church.
Monday will be quite a busy but sociable
day of visiting people, places and doing some shopping!
Please pray:
- For a breakthrough at the Gospel meeting this evening,
with many people becoming Christians.
- For the team as they minister in local churches tomorrow.
- For protection, strengthening and building up of the
team today and tomorrow before they start doing lots of
travelling.
