DAVID FIDDY

David Fiddy is in his early 30's and is married to Margaret. David comes from Norwich, where he is now involved in the leadership of his local AOG Church which was pioneered about 6 years ago. He both leads the worship and does a lot of teaching within the church. David was trained at Mattersey Hall Bible School back in the mid - 80's, and is now in his second year as a probationary minister. He should become a full minister in 1998.

David and Margaret have a love for missions work, and have been privileged to travel to India, to minister and share the word of God. They are seeking to go to Hong Kong and China later in 1997, to preach and minister the word of God there. David has been involved in leading worship for almost 15 years. He started out as a vocalist, but began to play the keyboard following the death of then church musician in 1989/90. He has seen his playing ability grow and increase as he has opened himself up to God to be used by him. David is at home both leading worship, or just playing within a worship band. He believes that the most essential part of a worship leaders life/ministry is an open heart/spirit before God. For david the following statement is so true - "Worship is the act that comes from a relationship with God, borne out of an intimacy with him, shown in a lifestyle that glorifies God" David is grateful to God for the backing of a special wife, who is an accomplished singer in her own rught, having been involved in a Worship group in her home church in Watford.

David's primary vision in worship is to see the people touched by the presence of God as they come before him, with theirt lives so changed and reflecting him, they affect those around and about them.
