Developing the prophetic

Having taken the first steps in moving in the prophetic, the next phase is developing in the prophetic ministry. The New King James version of the bible refers to "sons of the prophets", a group of men that the NIV called "the company of the prophets". Very little is known about the company of prophets and although it is not stated, there is an implication from the terminology that the prophets encouraged, taught and imparted to each other, thereby enriching each other's lives.

So it is with us, we can encourage, teach and impart to one another in this ministry of the prophetic, learning and developing as we continue on our journey. We can move from those first shaky steps into a more intermediate stage and then over time go on to an advanced level as our ministry matures.
