Refreshment Day - 5 March 2005
The day dawned with heavy snow falling, causing us to wonder if the women who had booked in for our third Refreshment Day would still come! However, such is the hunger to meet together and enjoy fellowship, worship and ministry from the word of God that 45 women came from as far afield as Skegness in Lincolnshire to Aveley in Essex. They reported that they only encountered snow on arriving in Norfolk. We were delighted to see everyone who came, knowing that God would bless, encourage and refresh them.

Tables attractively laid out for lunch are all part of the refreshing experience.

Anointed worship led by Rachael Adams refreshed our souls and prepared us for hearing the message God had given Maureen Lee to impart to us. Maureen brought us an inspiring and challenging message about Miriam. The first part focused on Miriam's journey from 'only looking' to worship leader.

We all enjoyed fellowship around the lunch tables and the three course meal was much appreciated, especially as it was served by men from Watton Pentecostal Church.

Having been physically refreshed, we were eager to move into our second session which Maureen had entitled: 'To praise or not to praise. That is the question'. A year on in Miriam's journey, she was faced with a challenge - to praise or to grumble - a challenging message to our hearts.
The day ended with time for prayer ministry. It truly was a refreshing experience.
